Not only that, but the developer has released a new gameplay trailer showing the game in action.Īnnounced during Nacon Connect 2023, Rogue City was originally announced last year for a June 2023 release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Developed in conjunction with Scorpion Masqué, the game will be a cooperative, rogue-lite metroidvania inspired experience, where you explore the ever-changing island of Dead Cells as a group.


In these battles across two new biomes and featuring a host of new weapons and enemies, players will need to use their wits and calm their nerves to achieve victory.Īnd if that’s not enough, Motion Twin and Evil Empire also dropped hints of a board game adaptation of Dead Cells, which will launch on Kickstarter later this Spring. You’ll be needing these new weapons and abilities when you’re facing off against Dracula and Death himself, who players will be able to face for the first time in 15 years.
